This is the last installment of the Life Tunes meme. The suggested theme is your favorite Christmas or Holiday song. Your own favorite may be anywhere in the range from Christmas hymns like "Silent Night" or "Away in a Manger" to secular pop titles like "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer" or "Frosty The Snowman". There are so many choices!
Here is my layout:
The layout was created using Krystal Hartley's newest kit "Joyeux Noel"
Now it's YOUR turn to share your favorite Christmas/Holiday tune! Choose a song that speaks to you, has a special meaning in your family, or just gives you the warm fuzzies during this season. Coming Soon - Life Tunes 5!
Last month in Life Tunes 4 we considered what dance tune was guaranteed to get us moving. How fun! Thanks for all your responses.
This month, for the 5th of our 6 Life Tunes challenges, my suggested theme is oldies but goodies. What is your favorite "oldies" hit??? For me, music defined a lot of my life in the late 70's and early 80's. I loved Captain & Tenille, Bee Gees, ABBA, Kenny Rogers, Eagles, Bread, Michael Jackson... the list goes on and on. There are at least a half dozen tunes that I could name in this category. In fact, I seriously considered using Eagles "Peaceful Easy Feeling" and telling the story about the guitar man at our local college pub that I had a bit of a crush on...
But this month, I'll be creating a layout about this song:
Notice that it also fits neatly into the Life Tunes 3 song from a movie soundtrack category too? You may find (if you choose to go back and create Life Tunes layouts at some point) that many of the categories will spark more than one song for you.

Life Tunes 4
Well, it is September 17th and that means I'm already two days late with the 4th installment of Life Tunes! (sorry). This month's suggested theme is dance tunes. What is the one song guaranteed to get your toes tapping, hips shaking, body moving? Here is my layout:
The layout was created with Krystal Hartley's latest kit "Soundtrack". The terrible photo is actually of my sister Deanna and I dancing to "YMCA" at a Convention, back in the days when I was in the scrapbook biz... but it is the only photo I could find of me dancing... and I had to ask the friend who took it for it! Guess I don't dance all that much...

Coming Soon - Life Tunes 4!
Last month in Life Tunes we considered beloved songs from a movie soundtrack. Feels Like Home To Me is still playing in my mind on repeat!
This month, for the 4th of our 6 Life Tunes, my suggested theme is your favorite dance song. What is the one song that is guaranteed to get you out of your seat and on the dance floor? Or if you aren't into dancing, what is the one that you can't help but tap your toes to??? I challenge you not just to name that tune, but to provide a photo of yourself dancing! This month I'll be creating a layout about this song:
No doubt about it, I was a child of the 70's!

Coming Soon - Life Tunes 3!
Last month in Life Tunes we considered our favorite spiritual songs. Not many of you are playing along with a blog post or scrapbooking layout, but I hope you are at least finding some inspiration for the future! I know many of you wanted to play along ... maybe it is just the Summer business...
This month my suggested theme is a song from a movie soundtrack. This is so wide open. There are so many beautiful songs that were created specifically for movies and so many beautiful, fun, and crazy songs that are featured in movies. Share Yours! This month I'll be creating a layout about this song:

Coming Soon - Life Tunes 2!
Last month in Life Tunes we considered our favorite "Summer Love" songs. I know many of you wanted to play along, but maybe just forgot... or ran out of time... or couldn't think of what song it would be... if you still want to do a Summer Love post, go for it! I'll visit! :)
This month my suggested theme is your favorite spiritually uplifting song. It can be a hymn, a christmas carol, or even a pop tune that touches your soul. I know when a song really touches me deep down, I have a very visceral and physical reaction. I get goose bumps all over and my scalp tingles. Call me weird if you want, I'm okay with it. A well sung version of Amazing Grace at the right moment will do it for me. This month I'll be creating a layout about this song, which gives me goosebumps every time I hear it:
I've heard numerous versions. I like K.D. Lang's the best. Of course, you are free to share about ANY song that is personally meaningful to you. Come back on the 15th to link up your blog post or scrapbook layout.
