Thinking about you and your family and everyone on the east coast! Stay safe and dry!

And I am watching the news and hoping and praying that it won't be as awful as they predict. Having a hurricane with my name on it that promises to be the hurricane of the century is a dubious honor. I pray for the safety of everyone in its path.

I keep listening to the news to see what is happening out there. It seems like you have done everything that needs to be done and can only now sit and wait and hope that it isn't as bad as they say it may be. Take care and keep us informed x

This is beautifully put together, Cheri, and all the more stunning because of your evocative writing. We are watching here with fingers crossed for you all, and you are in my thoughts ... (May I add you to my Simply A Moment list?)

Hope all is going well. The worst of it went through here around midnight. Many lost power, but we were lucky. No loss of power and no big limbs or trees down in our yard, or our close neighbors.

Hi Cheri :) I hope you managed to not be affected too much by the storm. We watched the news most of Tuesday evening and were shocked by some of the reports. A friend was going to travel to New York this weekend, but now I'm not too certain if she will be. Take care :)
