Picture Fall

Today we finally had a morning that didn't dawn grey and wet.  And I was able to capture this "morning light" photo:

I want to say thank you to everyone for your lovely and encouraging comments on my photos. I really appreciate it. I finally feel like I am starting to get the kind of images I want. Still have a LOT to learn about my camera, but each new challenge makes me stretch. Baby steps.

Love this photo! I've been looking forward to seeing all the photos I've missed during my week in the wilderness (ie being internet-less) - this is a darn good start :-)

One of my best friends used to say, "When I think I know it all, it's time to quit teaching." I think the same thing applies to photography and most other hobbies. One of the things I love the most about all my hobbies is the continuous learning. This is another beautiful photograph. I didn't sign up for Picture Fall, but I think I will sign up for Picture Holiday as it will be a good companion for my Christmas Journal.
