The weekend saw an unplanned visit home from college for Becca - she was just homesick! Of course, that had a ripple effect, from which I learned... if all the weekend plans get changed, the stuff you bought to make dinner works just as well the next week! That saved me from having to go grocery shopping today which was a very good thing - as I had an eye doctor appointment today - the one where you have your eyes dilated... and I learned - it is very hard to do computer work with dilated eyes. I now have a massive headache. Another lesson learned!
I loved the email from Goodreads telling me what I had read in 2015 and was thrilled to turn it into a page.
Cathy Zielski's template said "Slice of Life" - a little creative photoshopping and it was perfect for this layout!
This story was on my Fave Five list last year - now it is finally scrapped! And it took two pages to do it justice.

That layout on the books you read is fabulous! I just had to shift everything from Shelfari to Goodreads, so next year I should get an email like that, too!
I love the "Sarah's Tree" story pages. That pizza looks and sounds wonderful. I've never seen anything quite like it.
The Sarah's Tree pages are beautiful: that combination of white background and the font and the green in the pictures.
I'm sorry to hear about the sore head. The older I get the more I realise how much value I put on my eyesight. It's scary..
Have a great week Cheri
Great pages - I especially like seeing all those book covers together!
I haven't had my eyes dilated in years as our eye doctor has new technology (that costs extra, of course) that replaces dilation. I always pay the extra because it's so much easier!
Love those pages! You are talented.
Lovely pages and a lovely story about the tree.
Really love those last 2 pages.
I'm always so impressed by your LOADs. I absolutely adore your Goodreads page!
Great pages Cheri...what a lovely surprise to have your daughter home for the weekend xx
I recognised that Slice of Life template so the change of title made me smile. Neat email from Goodreads to page - Nora Roberts is lovely isn't she, and the MacGregor series are some of my favourite of her books.
I just discovered that Amazon keep a track of what I've borrowed and read through Kindle Unlimited, so if I want to remember what fluff I've read I can do that ;)
