Jay attached a cardboard tray to the deck railing and put out bread for the birds.
We've seen two blue jays (a pair?), a woodpecker, and a few smaller birds - one I think from the flycatcher family and one from the titmouse family, although I can't identify them with any certainty.
But the birds are quick to come and go, so no photo opps there - even though the blue jays were quite the little piggies.
After the birds were done, this little guy came and helped himself. And stayed awhile stuffing his pudgy little belly.
But I have to be honest - Jay took the photos. I was just happy enjoying the show.

Adorable! Your squirrels are so different than ours. Ours are "red" squirrels and don't have such luxurious tails. Sort of wish we had some snow to photograph, but after today's 70's temps...naah,naah, naah!
Super cute photos! Love the snowperson's 1/2 smile.
It's lovely that they still want to make snowmen! Long may it continue.
Love the happy snowman. And the captures of the squirrel are great.
Thanks for linking up :)
Love that snowman....his crooked face is perfect!
Such beautiful pictures. I get happy from them!
lol!! That's the kind of happy smile I wear after a glass or so of wine... ;-)
What a great happy snowman! We were iced/snowed in for four days and I found some Happy time in my craft room! :>)

I'm glad to see others got to enjoy the snowy weather and resulting snow days too! Hope you managed to stay warm throughout - we lost power through the storm.
So sweet! Cute little guy :)
