One Year Ago On Scrap Dreams

I was waxing poetic about how grateful I felt for Spring.

We are definitely running late this year.  The daffodils in the yard are still just leaves pushing up through the soil. We probably have another 2 weeks at least before they bloom.

Trees are just getting buds now - we have a ways to go before anything is leafing out.

In fact, we had snow on April 1st. I think it was Mother Nature's idea of an April Fool's Day prank.  I, for one, was NOT amused.  I want to show you new daffodil photos, not more white stuff!

Ah well, Spring will come. It must. That's just the way it is.

Yay! I get to do Spring twice then! The daffodils are all in full bloom here, as I'm sure you've seen from my pictures. Can't wait til I get to see the daffodils at home!

Daffodils are beginning to die in the gardens here in the South of England now. Shame as they are my favourite flower, hope yours come soon xxx

We also have very late spring here in WI. I still have some snow in my backyard :( Every day I check to see if daffodils are picking out, but no, not yet.

Same here! Finally tonight's forecast had warmer temperatures that appeared they might last for more than a day. By the weekend it's supposed to be lovely. Hope it's true.

I hope we'll get to see some daffodil photos soon! Sending you warm wishes and sunshine from Texas where it's windy and dry. We could use a little rain here.

Its hard for me to imagine snow in April, so I am sending you over some sunshine and hoping you get some daffs soon. They are one of my fav flowers, but we have to get them imported! Sue
