Mixing It Up - Post Three

The week four Summer of Color combo is pale pink and charcoal grey.  I created this page with a wash of pale pink acrylic and a little bit of "Diva Pink" for depth.  The flowers and leaves are created with light modeling paste mixed with a couple drops of black ink to create a dark grey and then applied in a thin coat through a stencil.  The quote was provided as part of week 5 of the "Being Me" course.

Great page and love that quote, though for me it is while having a cup of tea not walking... the brushstrokes at the bottom are simply awesome...xx

Love the use of the modeling paste. I found my jar of it last weekend during a clean and purge event in my study. Need to get it out and give it a try!

This is gorgeous Cheri. I find it very inspiring. I would love to make an art journal but have issues with what to put on the page...you have inspired me to use quotes.
