Finishing LOAD

First up, apologies to all my blog friends for my lack of commenting recently.  I've read every post, just haven't had the energy to respond except here & there.  I spent four days in fibro hell and got way behind on LOAD.  But between the 28th and 29th, I got myself caught up, finishing my OLW photo collage and creating my last three layouts.

Because of the push from LOAD, I completed 29 layouts, for a total of 44 pages in February (I'm counting the 14 pages in Rachel's School of Life album as one layout for purposes of my "Twelve" class commitment and I had a couple of two page layouts.) That means a total of 41 layouts and 63 pages to date! I'm pretty sure that I've gone full years in the past without scrapping that much.

LOAD was a lot of fun, although the commitment weighed heavily on me in the last week and I was ready for it to end.  But I enjoyed the end result enough that I'll probably try it again!

I saw the first of these in the LOAD gallery and loved it there. I think it might be my favorite. I do love the colors and papers on the last one though. I think red and yellow are going to be my spring/summer colors this year.

Feel better soon.

I remember "making a boy" too, and it was so fun, and so great to participate in making a tradition. Another favorite memory is our quilt class at Sarah's school. One of the most memorable things I've ever done. I am so much enjoying seeing your lives revisited through scrapbooking.

Aw, sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well! That's no fun.

Your layouts are also so well done, Cheri. I love looking at them. I was sentimental about the soccer page! I was a band mom when Carrie was in school and even though it seemed draining at the time, I missed it SOOO much when she graduate. Now, whenever I hear a drum corp in the distance I feel sentimental all over again.

Cheri, hope you are feeling better. I think you have done really fab with your LOAD, I reckon you have probably made more LO's this month than I ever have. Its funny but today I was having a sad moment; it was sports day at secondary school, which we don't get to attend; DH and I loved Sports day at the Primary school and never missed one. I must make a LO about this, thanks so much for the inspiration! x
