One of my "projects" for February is to clean, purge, and reorganize my craft space. These are my BEFORE photos...
I'm posting here so I can be held accountable to get this project done!
If I haven't posted my AFTER photos by March 1st, you can all ask me where they are.
Not only is this mess embarrassing, it hinders my creativity because there is no space on that table to actually work!
The set-up of the room won't change much because this is really how everything fits best. But I do plan to purge stuff I will never use, clean up the mess, and get things organized so I know what I have and where to find it! Stay tuned for the transformation!

That space has great "bones" to work with. I see Simplify (previous OLW?) is on the board, a good word to encourage you on.
Oh wow! That is quite a collection of crafty stash! Can't wait to see the 'after' photos!
I remember seeing this great space when I was there (how many years ago now?) I find it's necessary to clean up and purge on a pretty regular basis. I treated myself to The Stamp Market's wonderful dividers for my stamps and dies. They arrived today, and in trying to put them in the bins, I ended up totally trashing the craft room/office, needing to reorganize where I store the dies. It has to be cleaned up by tomorrow, so I know exactly what I'm doing tonight.
That room doesn't look so terribly messy, but good luck with the clean-up and purge. I can relate to having no surface on which to actually craft. I met a friend today at the grocery store who said she was "over" scrapbooking and was considering a major downsizing of her stuff. I can never bring myself to do a "major" purge, but I've done several substantial ones in a row over the past couple of years and feel the need for one more coming on pretty strong. I cannot wait to see how much your room changes.
PS I guess you either host Scrabble game nights or you have harvested all the tiles from those games for craft projects -- which is it?
You can do it!! Funny, I spent last week reorganizing parts of my room after I finally finished cleaning out the failed “she shed”. The best part was seeing my beautiful table again.
You've got this!! Looking forward to seeing the space cleaned up & ready for you to work. I had to laugh at the Scrabble games - I just bought another one last week, too!! I took out the tiles & put them in my ABC drawers and kept the game board, but recycled the box.
Years ago when I used to teach organization classes, I always said, "It doesn't matter how much space you have, you'll wind up scrapbooking in the same 12" as everyone else!" And that is so true. I'll look around and scratch my head, thinking, "How in the world does it get like this?" I, too, am in need of another "clean out." When I see your "after" pictures, maybe I'll be inspired!! There it is. Your motivation. You have to do it because the rest of us are relying on you for inspiration! PS I noticed all the Scrabble games too. As a lover of Scrabble, I collected many games to use the tiles for scrapbooking.
