So did you get to leave some positive feedback anywhere last week? I reviewed a pair of boots that I fell in love with (purchased from Maryland Square) after I had worn them a couple of times so I could be honest about the fit and feel. It felt empowering to know that my thoughts might influence a future potential purchaser. But since I'm not really into consumerism all that much, I also reviewed a few books on GoodReads. I'd like to say all my reviews were positive, but to be honest, one was just neutral. We can't love all of it!

Do you remember this AT&T ad campaign from the early 80's? It was totally sappy, but probably effective in getting folks to pick up the phone and call a loved one. And that is just what I want you to do this week - reach out and touch someone. Pick up the phone and dial the number of a friend or family member that you haven't talked to in a while. Just to say howdy and catch up. You might just make their day!

Oh I definitely remember that ad - my Daddy is a telephone man after all! A couple of weeks ago, I drove down to Scrappin' Goodtime and I took that time to call some friends I hadn't talked to in a while. It was so wonderful to catch up. I know who I need to call this week - Robbie's aunt left a message last week & I haven't gotten back to her, she gets lonely so I'll make time to chat with her this week for sure!
Thank you Cheri - you have reminded that I must call my friend Ann who I haven't spoken to for almost a year.
Funny, with the advent of texting, we don't call here half as often as we used to. Time to pick up the phone, I think
I left some positive feedback last week, but then feel the need to take it all back this week!! I'm running in circles with Cricut! But that's another story. You are so right about the phone. I make, what I call, my "old people calls" once a month. Today's the day!! Thanks for the reminder.
I left some good feedback with a restaurant as I left. Don't have many calls here either with texting and email, does Skype count? That happens often...
You reminded me I hadn't phoned my brother for awhile....and following that phone call we are now meeting for lunch in London on Sunday!!!
Since several of my friends don't text, I do make fairly regular phone calls, but this reminds me of a friend I've had on my mind for a couple of weeks, and I'm off to make a call!
I made the call and set up a lunch date. Thanks Cheri.
