LOAD13 - Why I Create

I thought it was an omen when today's prompt was "hobbies."  I've had this page in mind since reading Stacy Julian's "20 Questions" for "Twelve" class.  Finding photos of my older creations was a challenge - that was all pre-digi! But I did find and scan a couple and here we are!

I absolutely love this page,Cheri....and the reasons you create totally resonate with me....and also the way creating develops.

A thoughtful page. I loved hearing about all the different crafts you have turned your hand to - such variety! Yes, I too have been creating since I was old enough to hold a needle and I'm lucky to be married to someone who comes from a whole family of "makers" too.

Stunning page. Love the soft colors. Great job with keeping up with LOAD.

I feel relatively new to the world of making stuff, but I agree with you, it is essential for me too!

Love this layout and your writing here :) You have described your need to create so well and I have to agree I have similar reasons for creating - without it there is a large void :)

Cheri, I absolutely love what you did with this template (I was in that class too!) and couldn't agree more with your sentiments. DH actually commented that crating was my meditation; I think he's absolutely right!

Cheri I could almost lift the words from your page and put them on one of my own. I always think that creating is not a want it is a need, it is who I am and what I do and I can see you are a kindred spirit in this.

Loved this in the gallery and love it again here. Amazing that I haven't seen all your work in the gallery, but there's way too much to see there!

Such a great layout, Cheri, and I love your journaling! I could have written the exact same thing, word for word!

I thought I recognized that template from the Type+Writer class. This is a lovely layout, the papers you've chosen are perfect.
