I loved jacks but could never get the hang of cat's cradle. The photo of the roller skates is great. Excellent set of pages. I think it is important to record this type of information.

You've really taken me back,Cheri....I loved 'jacks' and we all played it when I was a kid....you never see it here now. Cat's cradle I was never so good at...but a lot of kids do still play that one.I had some of those skates as well...you can still get them over here....but they are the colourful plastic type now....and only for little kids.

All of these are great. I love that you're doing the LOAD challenge. I really love your sunset layout. So pretty.

I really felt for you when I was reading the Weeping Willow story. We used to have one in our garden when I was little and it had to be taken down because its roots were disturbing the house foundations. It was a very sad day.

You are doing a fine job of keeping up with LOAD

WOW Cheri, you are rocking the LOAD pages! I love your sunset photo and all the blending etc is gorgeous! Its what I wanted to do with my digi pages, but never quite got the hang of. I'm planning on going back and doing Yesterday and Today too and I love the look of the template with pp on the background rather than the white I probably would have stuck there! Thanks for the inspiration. x

Your pages are wonderful - I've really enjoyed reading about your childhood games and I remember some of these too. I had roller skates just like those! So sorry about your beautiful tree - I'd have wept too ...

I love your layouts, Cheri, and I really loved reading about the games you played as a youngster. I LOVED jacks and I rocked at it, if I do say so myself. A few years ago my teenaged nephews were here for a visit and I brought out the jacks. They had so much fun playing with them and it was a great walk down memory lane for me. I also loved cat's cradle and hopscotch! ~sigh~ Those were the days...

Hi Cheri - I have been enjoying reading/seeing your load pages. You really are doing some beautiful digital work, I especially love the second layout here and enjoyed reading the story of your willow tree. I love weeping willows and birch trees - we had a weeping birch when we first moved in to our home, and it did not last for more than 2 years.

These are all wonderful, but I just love the last two-pager. I just found a photo of me with roller skates just like these. I'd forgotten you grew up in Elmira. So close to me now.
