I went to a day crop on Saturday October 8th. I had my photos taken, uploaded, edited, and saved for web by Wednesday October 12th. All I had left was to come here and create the post. But I was at work on Thursday. And I spent 6+ hours in the car on Friday (leaving first thing in the morning), driving to pick Sarah up from college and bring her home for Fall Break. And I'm learning that travel just plain kills me for days on end!
But without further ado, what I created at the crop:
I just had to document the glory days of Sarah reading out loud to her younger sisters at bedtime. Sarah grew up to be an avid reader. The other two, unfortunately, avoid reading at all costs. |

Stunning layouts
Some wonderful memories...and layouts,Cheri. They remind me of how my mum used to make clothes for my girls ....and stitched and knitted toys as well.
One of mine hated Santa as well...in fact she hated beards in general....come to think of it...she hated most people when she was little....the clingiest baby possible!!!
Great layouts Cheri - you certainly had a productive crop!
Great layouts and I love all the stories behind the layouts! TFS!
It seems to me that there are several of us out in blogland, fighting to find the time we want and need to blog! I have a list of blog posts I want to write. I am ALWAYS amazed at what you manage to accomplish at a crop! Great layouts.
Lots of great memories recorded here Cheri :) I used to love to read out loud - we did classes in it at Library School and I used to read to the kids every afternoon when they were little. I kind of miss it now. Six hours in the car? That is devoted parenting!
What gorgeous LO's Cheri love them all x
Gosh, you were busy! A lovely set of layouts :)
Oh my gosh, Cheri, these are great layouts. How did you get through them with dry eyes? I get so sentimental when I work with photos of Carrie when she was little. Your photos are so adorable!
What fabulous layouts Cheri. You managed far more than I do at a crop and I don't have the excuse of long days driving beforehand.
I am so impressed by how much you were able to accomplish at a crop - I usually get very little done beyond talking and drooling over other people's LOs. ;) And please know that feeling "late" with a post makes this reader feel better about all those posts she has yet to get to. :) I hope you've had a great time with your daughter!
You accomplished a great bit of scrapping here Cheri! BTW - your writing is lovely :)
