Picture Inspiration 2/52

A Little Rhythm:  a harmonious sequence or pattern of masses alternating with voids, of light alternating with shade, ...

For this prompt, I decided to do some shadow play. I was lucky enough to have a sunny day.

I found this rhythm on the hearth in the family room.
I found this bit of rhythm on the sun room floor.  I love the contrast of the shade lines from the windows against the grout lines of the tiles.

But when it comes to playing with shadows... this one honestly won my affections.

Wow! I really like those! Not something I would have thought given a second thought normally, but they're so elegant and...I don't know...seem to say something about everydayness. I think the second is my favorite.
Very nice! :)

And I really like the third one! It has a very contemplative feel to it.

These are great. We're really into shadows these days (Bella has her first flashlight). The 2nd one is my fave!

Great photos Cheri - isn't it amazing what we find when we are prompted to look for it. Now I'll be noticing all the rhythm I see as I walk through the house today!

Oh, I love these! I went out for a drive on a sunny day hoping to find something but didn't. I had shadows in mind as well. No sun until Tuesday according to the weather man so I need to be looking in the house while I wait.

Oh my, I love these! We have some sunshine today so I might be lucky enough to get some good shadows myself - now where's that camera? :-)
