Picture Winter - 24
"Obscurity"
Version 1 - converted to black & white. It wasn't actually snowing when I snapped this photo, but the wind was seriously whipping the newly fallen snow around in little cyclones, obscuring my shot of the sun through the trees.
Version 2 - using the Pioneer Woman "Heartland" action. I love how this really makes it look like I'm in the middle of a blizzard.

I am glad you have been well enough to get a few of these photos posted for us Cheri - these are just sensational today and you are so right about how the action makes you feel as though you are right there in a blizzard!
I actually prefer the top one, but just one woman's opinion. I had a real hard time with this prompt, since I was in SoCal and it was in the high 70's there.
I think this might be my favorite so far. I like both versions, but the B&W inches ahead just a bit.
Amazing how different the second one looks.
