I first saw this idea on
Alison's blog although it apparently originated with
Jo who morphed a meme to fit her needs - and I thought the idea had huge merit - both as an incentive to take more and better photos AND as a way to stay at least somewhat current with scrapbooking.
So my plan - somewhere near the beginning of each month, post my five favorite photos from the preceding month. Then, during the month, scrap them and share the pages. Now December wasn't a particularly good month for me. I was sick for most of it. I did not take a single photo on Christmas day. Not one. And what Jay took... meh. But I still managed to find five favorites for the month...

Becca snapped this photo on her iPhone in the parking lot of the Wells Fargo Center when we were on our way in. Literally on the fly. Which gave me no time to pose or fake anything... And I LOVE it!
Does it still count if I wasn't the photographer? I think so. |

So there you have it. My five favorites from December. Which I hope to scrap at some point this month. Wish me luck!!!

Fun photos, and my fave is the one of you and your daughter, and YES, it definitely counts if you're in it. In fact, you ought to try to be in one of the five every month. If you're like me, the number of photos that include you are few and far between!

Of course it counts even if you're not the photography - you get to be in the photo!! I've seen this idea a few times, too, and think I might join in & pick my five faves at the end of January.
My favourite's the impromptu one taken on the phone. I love seeing 'selfies' - please include one every time!

I think including yourself as one your the five faves of the month would be a great aim :). I've enjoyed spotting the family resemblances too.

It's a good idea to pick your five favorite photos of the month before and then scrap them. I hope you have succeeded - and if not? There are worse things, right? BTW, I like the photo of yourself with your daughter.
