A Simple Moment | November

I can't believe it has been eleven days since my last post! I am so far behind in EVERYTHING!

I find that when the girls are all home my time is not my own. We had a lot of great family time over Thanksgiving week.  Time where I let go of all of my routines - logging food, meditation, commenting on blogs, writing blog posts, attention to scrapbooking (like gratitude pages) and online classes - all went by the wayside in favor of spending time with my girls. I don't regret it for a second, but I do miss the routine. So now I'm back and desperately trying to catch up with myself.

First up - I finally managed to record a Simple Moment for November:

Oh Cheri - I echo Jacky, you are definitely enough. It's nice to see your post, but don't worry! I have a feeling we are all behind with something :)

I feel the same as Jacky - sending hugs from across the ocean. It sounds like they were cleansing tears though and I hope that today finds you feeling a little brighter.

This is very moving. The photo captures both the bleakness and the beauty of your moment. Hugs to you,

What a heartfelt post, Cheri! Spending time with family is exactly what I did as well even though neither of my kids was here. Most of my creative time is getting spent getting ready for the holidays, so I'm behind with my Gratitude Journal and blogging as well.

I really appreciate that you have captured the rawness of your feelings in this moment Cheri. Your journaling is heartfelt and emotional - you ARE ENOUGH, there is no mistaking that.

Definitely you are enough - something that we all need to be reminded of. Thank you for sharing - I hope you are feeling calmer and the mediations have continued.

I wish I could leave a comment that is as beautifully written as your journaling, Cheri. You are so eloquent in your writing, and I can only imagine how journaling helps to make sense of those moments in time when things aren't that rosy. Not only are you enough, but I think you are MORE than enough. I love that you recognized the value of spending time with your family, even if it meant sacrificing other routines at the moment. I did much of the same over Thanksgiving week.

Sending you some big ol' universal hugs and energy for an amazing (and happy) day. You totally deserve it! xo

Cheri,

Thanks for sharing such a beautiful moment...it sounds like it may have been a very difficult one, but you found the beauty in it.

So glad you had a wonderful time with your girls over Thanksgiving and that you're finding time to rest as well as catch up now.
